Violence just hurts those who are already hurt...Instead of exposing the brutality of the oppressor, it justifies it - Cesar Chavez

The Hug on September 11, 2002

Our first attempt, held on 1/10/01 in Lang Park, Wollongong, was a huge success in every way but in breaking the record. Take a look at the News Stories about the hug .

Thank-you everyone who participated, you made the event and it was beautiful! Every one had a great time with the stars of the show being the children.

We wish to thank all of our friends for their help, in particular Tara Devries and the very good people at BannersRUs.

Stealing the show: children saying "peace" in different languages.

If there was an award for cutest kid, the competition would have been tough!
