Grant us Peace
I remember the beautiful colors
Of a summer evening.
Please God,
Grant us, peace!
I remember the sweet murmurs of my grandchild
In the middle of the night.
Please Lord,
Grant us, peace!
I remember my childhood
And the joy of all my many friends.
Please God,
Grant us, peace!
I remember my neighbors
And wish them well.
Please Lord,
Grant us, peace!
I remember War....
And all its sorrow.
Please, dear Lord
Grant us peace, on earth.
